Up ahead, the sound of powerful fists pounding against a boulder could be heard a few feet away from Airi and Lilac. Airi gives her enchanting horse a quick nod, encouraging her to follow the path that will lead them towards the loud noise. Lilac lets out a sigh neigh as she moves in the direction of the path. A few seconds later, Airi's deep blue eyes takes notice of a Makuhita demolishing a round boulder into small pieces. The rotund fighter lets out a cheerful cry as he raised his iron fist high in the air like a newly crowned champion. He eventually turns around and his eyes connects with Airi and Lilac. A panicked expression shows over his face before he flees from the scene in embarrassment. Airi giggles and shakes her head as she signals for Lilac to move further along the path. What an adorable scene to behold. Perhaps, this early morning hike will not be too boring after all.

A swarm of Orbeetle floats pass Cayanne in the dawn sky, causing the fire bird to glide out of their way to prevent herself from scorching them with her blazing body. Airi shifts her attention towards the sea of Bug/Flying-types. For a split second or two, one may mistake the peculiar beetles for aliens drifting down from space. Despite not being as elegant looking as Ledian, the swarm of Orbeetle are still an intriguing sight to behold. Airi smiles as she watches the Wild Pokémon fade away within the sky. before turning her attention back towards the path ahead of her.

Galloping along the rocky path, Airi and Lilac later find themselves approaching a vicious fight between a Mienshao and a duo of Sneasler. The Mienshao's body was completely covered in deep gashes and bruises. Still, she continued to push through the pain. The Mienshao reminded Airi of a reflection of herself. Striking beauty, graceful movements, and pure determination. It is common for others to misjudge them as weak or inadequate when the odds are stacked high against them. Similar to Airi, this Meinshao seems to have a lot to prove to herself and those hoping to prey on her.

The Mienshao let out a sharp hiss before using her sharp fangs to rip off the fur from her arms in hopes of making her body more light and agile. A couple of shiny tears slowly seeped from her eyes as she watched her soft purple sleeves take flight in the air, performing a dramatic dance before fading off into the distance. Airi bit down on her bottom lip as she felt herself becoming choked up by the Mienshao's action. Airi always took pride in her long, rich chocolate brown hair, even as a kid. However, when her mother passed away and her emotions became a little too high, she found herself struggling to adapt to all of the changes. She grew weary of being punched by life repeatedly, taking loss after loss. Eventually, she made the decision to cut her precious hair to free herself from her painful past. She underwent a unique metamorphosis to become an even better version of herself. Of course, her hair regrew even stronger and more luxurious than ever, too. Perhaps the Mienshao will also recover and "evolve" into a better version of herself, too.

The Mienshao rushed towards her opponents with blinding speed, assaulting her opponents with a combination of powerful strikes with her razor-sharp claws and whip-like tail. Her improved speed and raw strength make her combination of attacks impossible for her opponents to avoid. Knocking her opponents back a few feet, she was able to create enough space to allow herself time to Meditate before taking a great leap into the air to perform a flying Jump Kick to send a final blow to one of her opponents, which was also powerful enough to cause it to collide with the other opponent as the impact of the kick sends them flying through a couple boulders.

The Sneasler are knocked out cold, and the Mienshao is able to relish in her victory for a short amount of time before collapsing against the rugged ground. Airi, Lilac, and Cayanne swiftly rushed towards the severely injured fighting type. "You have done well, Mienshao. You fought with honor and heart. Now, it is time for you to rest and heal," Airi smiled down at the Mienshao as she kneeled next to her. Lilac leans over to press her mystical horn against the Mienshao's body to allow her healing magic to restore the Mienshao's health. The Mienshao gave Airi a half-smile before falling asleep. Airi retrieves a Poke Ball from her bag to capture the Mienshao.
